The humanities are the study of how people process and document the human experience. Humans have long used philosophy, literature, religion, art, music, history, and language to understand and record our world. Studying humanities gives students the opportunity to develop a breadth of interdisciplinary knowledge, enhance their appreciation of the arts, and sharpen their critical thinking skills.
